Mac Sports® is the cornerstone of the Mac Family. Mac Sports' growth and development reflects, and to a large extent is the embodiment of, the development and domination of the collapsible format in recreational furniture.
It was no more than seven years ago that recreational furniture was dominated by the traditional web chair, and the collapsible quad chair was a small niche market item. It was at this time that Tofasco first approached the mass market with quad/collapsible technology. In seven years' time, Tofasco has witnessed, participated in, and been largely responsible for the growth of this market from a niche to what it is now. Quad/collapsible furniture is one of the more important retail categories in terms of dollar volume and exposure, and now spans the globe. Tofasco again has witnessed and played a significant role in a virtual revolution in available products in the recreational furniture category. It has since evolved from the basic quad to designs equipped with ergonomic features, adjustable seat backs, coolers and other amenities. |
