Introduction

Mac Automotive^TM, containing OEM and Aftermarket divisions, is the newest member of the Mac family of companies. Both divisions are reflections of the trend that we anticipate will evolve into a tidal wave of migration of automobile accessory and parts manufacturing to China, bound initially for the North American market and eventually for the Chinese market. Our tools are our ability to identify, communicate with and understand the needs the automobile market players-both OEM and aftermarket; the ability to marry these needs with Chinese manufacturing abilities-both our own facilities and outside facilities; and finally our logistical and operational abilities to minimize or eliminate the difficulties of overseas sourcing.

We have fielded projects from simple cut-and-sew parts to highly technical and delicate stampings, and we anticipate more. We have worked with facilities already intimately familiar with auto industry manufacturing standards, as well as plants that we have had to introduce to, educate about and help manage through the PPAP and other related automobile standards and practices. Bottom line, Mac Automotive will serve as the automobile market's key to the benefits of the reduced costs of Chinese manufacturing while minimizing the logistical and communication difficulties associated with such overseas resources.
